Ever since Apple relaxed its approval policy for apps last week we’ve witnessed lot’s of stories that got me interested in Google Voice in particular and VOIP communication in general. It turns out there are many options which are not as well-known as they probably should be, so I dug deeper.
In the coming days I will publish tips and reviews around free (and almost free) phone calls around the world, you are welcome to follow:
- Free calls with USA
- Calls with Israel
- Review of Google Voice services
- Detailed guide on how to sign up for Google Voice (even if you are not) in the United States.
- Managing multiple numbers (SIP)
- Free / cheap calls around the world
The guide is aimed particularly for iPhone / iPod touch / iPad users, however computer owners will find some interesting options as well and I am sure you can adjust some of it for other smartphones.
