English vs. Hebrew – A dilemma…

English vs. Hebrew – A dilemma…

Since I still consider these my first steps in the blogging world, I’ll share one of my biggest dilemmas with you – which language do I use in this blog, Hebrew or English?? I know I’ve started in English but it’s not too late to switch…

With the majority of the potential readers around the world being able to read English (at least compared to the alternative) it would only be natural to make this an English blog… It also allows me to interact with some of the bloggers and pod-casters I draw my information from if they choose one day to do so 🙂

On the other hand, living and working in Israel – I guess it’s only natural for Hebrew speakers to gain more from this content which is some what more oriented to the local issues and aspects, plus – there is less competition since let’s face it – there are fewer blogs and bloggers out there who write in Hebrew.

I’ll let you in on a little secret, I’ve already setup a mirror image for this blog in hebrew… So I need to make a decision, do I:

  1. Keep only the English version of this blog?
  2. Switch to the Hebrew version of this blog?
  3. Use one and mix both languages as I feel like it at the risk of losing English readers?
  4. Use both by writing two versions for each post – almost doubling the amount of time I need to sepnd on a single post and posibliy writing less?

What do you think? I’d like to get some input before I make a decision…
